Ballistic Protection Level 4 ballistic plates are made of Stand Alone alumina ceramic with ultra high molecular weight polyethylene backing. It is resistant to rifles up to .30 AP / 7.62mm NATO FMJ.
The case is made of tear-resistant 1000D Nylon and is UV treated and waterproof. It has a curved design that fits better to our torso.
The shooter plate (front) weighs approximately 2.65kg, measures 25.4 x 30.5cm and has a thickness of 2.4cm. The full plate (rear) weighs approximately 2.8kg and measures 25.5 x 30.5cm and has a thickness of 2.4cm.
The manufacturer recommends that the configuration be: level IV front plate made of aluminum stand alone with protection against sniper fire and level III rear plate made of polyethylene.
The most usual distribution is: level IV protection plate at the front and level III at the rear.
It has certification according to the standard NIJ-0101.06.
