The Salomon Forces Quest 4D GTX 2 High boots are the new high-cut model from the renowned French brand. They feature a Goretex membrane that ensures your feet stay dry at all times, allowing sweat vapor to escape while preventing water from getting in.
The Salomon Contagrip® All Terrain sole offers reliability on a wide variety of terrains, along with exceptional durability. It adapts to all types of surfaces without sacrificing toughness, and the lug geometry is designed to meet the requirements of different support zones to provide maximum versatility.
The midsole features EnergyCell technology and is made from dual-density foam. Together with Ortholite insoles that offer excellent breathability and moisture control, this makes for a very complete and comfortable boot.
In addition to this sole, it also features the Salomon 4D Advanced Chassis structure that reduces fatigue by increasing stability and torsion resistance with every step. The SensiFit lacing system ensures the boot fits perfectly to your foot for a better feel, "hugging" the foot from the midsole.
The boot overall, like the entire Forces range, has been especially reinforced and features a reinforced toe cap, Enigma Zero HT2 anti-puncture reinforcements in the sole, inserts on the inner part to enable Fast Rope maneuvers, and more. Each boot has an average weight of about 730 grams.
