The OXAN M72A safety carabiner with locking mechanism from the French brand Petzl is a high-strength carabiner made of steel and designed to deliver maximum performance in demanding environments. Its oval and symmetrical shape allows for optimal positioning when setting up anchors or connecting to metal structures, ensuring stability and precision even in tough conditions.
The interior design reduces friction points and makes it easier for the carabiner to rotate during maneuvers. In addition, the Keylock system prevents accidental snagging, improving efficiency and safety during use. Its H-shaped profile provides an excellent strength-to-weight ratio and protects the markings from abrasion, maintaining legibility over time.
This version features the SCREW-LOCK locking system, a manual screw sleeve that includes a red indicator to easily check if the gate is not locked. The OXAN M72A is compatible with the CAPTIV accessory (not included); this accessory reduces the risk of flipping and secures the connection to the device or system.
The OXAN M72A oval carabiner complies with some of the most demanding international standards, making it suitable for professional use in rescue, industry, and work at height. It holds the following certifications: CE EN 362, NFPA 2500 Technical Use, EAC, GB/T 23469:B, XF 494:FZL-G-Q.
